Sushma Ravindran is a product and growth leader turned women’s health founder, driven by both deep industry expertise and lived experience. After spending 18 years misdiagnosed with endometriosis, she witnessed firsthand how fragmented and confusing the U.S. healthcare system is, from opaque insurance rules to the struggle to find qualified, in-network specialists. That personal journey, paired with her professional background in building and scaling digital health products, inspired her to co-found Ask Nomi, an AI-powered navigation platform designed to finally give women clarity on their symptoms, coverage, and care options.

Before starting Ask Nomi, Sushma led product and growth teams at companies including Zocdoc, Verywell Health, and SingleCare, where she built solutions that improved access, usability, and patient experience at scale. Her rare combination of technical expertise, operational leadership, and lived patient insight shapes Ask Nomi’s mission: to transform the front door to women’s health into something clear, compassionate, and actionable. Sushma is dedicated to creating a healthcare experience where no one has to navigate their pain or diagnosis alone, and where access to care is driven by transparency, trust, and true patient empowerment.
