About the Brand
About
Babaloo is a small batch, Indigenous-owned, artisan jewelry brand based in Lexington. Born out of the desire to empower and celebrate all women, representation and inclusion are a foundational part of our company, and we strive to create exceptional statement pieces that are eco-responsible, artisan-produced, and ethically manufactured.
Founding Story
Babaloo was created from a desire to bring more representation into fashion in a way that felt honest, elevated, and personal. As a registered member of the Nez Perce Tribe, the founder built the brand as a reflection of heritage, artistry, and the belief that women deserve to feel powerful and seen. The business grew out of a simple but defining inspiration: create wearable pieces that hold meaning and presence, not just decoration.
From the beginning, Babaloo was built with purpose. The brand’s foundation is rooted in inclusion, eco-responsible values, and ethical production, with an emphasis on artistry and integrity over mass manufacturing. What started as one woman’s creative vision has grown into a small-batch jewelry brand that invites women to show up as themselves, fully.
