CV Ireland

Aoife graduated from University College Cork in June with a good degree, two internships, and a head full of plans. By September, she had sent out 42 applications and received exactly two replies, both polite rejections.

She couldn’t understand it. Her grades were strong, and her friends with similar results were already getting interviews. One evening, over tea, her older cousin asked to see her CV. It took about thirty seconds. “It’s a list of everything you’ve ever done,” she said gently, “but it doesn’t say why anyone should hire you.”

That sentence stung, and it was also true. Aoife had packed in every module, every part-time shift, and every club she’d joined, but nothing showed what she could actually do for an employer.

The next day, she searched online for a graduate resume helper in Ireland. She wasn’t looking for a miracle, just someone who understood how Irish employers read an entry-level CV. In one short consultation, she learned what to cut, what to lead with, and how to turn her internship projects into clear, measurable achievements.

Two weeks later, her phone rang. It was a recruiter in Dublin, calling about an interview.

Aoife’s qualifications hadn’t changed. Her CV simply finally told the right story.
