About
Created for people who want more than just pixels.
For those who still find meaning in writing things down, flipping through pages, and holding their plans in their hands.
Travwell by Gudwell creates thoughtfully designed travel planners for curious, design-loving travelers who want more than just a checklist. Our planners are crafted for meaningful journeys, blending curated local insights, personalized recommendations, and practical tips to help travelers explore the world with intention. Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, Travwell is the perfect companion for the conscientious traveler.
The brand focuses on analog travel solutions for digital overload for being organized and in the moment. Minimalist design, user-friendly formats, room for reflection, and a section on relaxation thoughtfully guides users on how to travel well and with ease.
Founding Story
Travwell was founded by Rachel Howze, a travel expert and vacation rental Superhost, after years of planning intentional, off-the-beaten-path trips across more than twenty countries. While living and working abroad, she noticed how overwhelmed people felt trying to plan meaningful travel in a noisy digital world.
The spark came during a road trip through the French countryside, ending with a New Year’s celebration in Paris where she fell in love (with her now husband). That trip showed her that great travel isn’t about how much you cram in. It’s about how much you actually feel. Travwell was born to help others experience travel that way: slow, beautiful, and unforgettable.
