Founding Story
Happy Wax began in the Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg with an unexpected founder—a 6'5" police officer named Ryan who discovered his passion for fragrance while helping his grandmother in her candle shop. Inspired to create a home fragrance brand that made people smile, Ryan introduced Happy Wax and its signature bear-shaped wax melts, which quickly became the heart of the brand.
As the company grew, so did its mission. Happy Wax was built on the belief that you shouldn't have to choose between strong, beautiful fragrance and high-quality ingredients.
