About the Brand
About
Justin Ruff Candle Co. is an Atlanta-born, artist-led home-fragrance brand at the intersection of music and scent. Founded by R&B/Jazz artist Justin Ruff, each candle is a “scent track” designed to set the mood—translating the feeling of a song into an elevated, everyday ritual.
Thoughtfully crafted in small batches with clean-burning wax and premium fragrances, the brand pairs soulful storytelling with refined, approachable design. Community and care are core: from intentional sourcing and low-waste production to collaborations that bring live music and fragrance together, Justin Ruff Candle Co. invites people to experience scent the way they experience music—deeply and personally.
Founding Story
Justin Ruff Candle Co. began as an extension of its founder’s creative world. An R&B/Jazz performer, Justin sought to bring the emotion and intimacy of live music into everyday spaces. Candle-making became his medium for translating sound into scent and moments into mood.
What started as a passion project in his Atlanta apartment has grown into a brand that bridges artistry and ambiance. Through retail partnerships, boutique collaborations, and immersive events that pair live music with fragrance, Justin Ruff Candle Co. continues to redefine what it means to “set the mood”—blending music, memory, and craftsmanship into one timeless experience, one flame, one breath, one note at a time.
