Inspired by a deep love for the land and the oceans, Live Kolibri was born from a belief that fashion should not only feel good but do good. Our families' happiest moments are spent near beautiful clean bodies of water, and our mission is to protect those spaces through thoughtful and luxury designs. Each piece is crafted with purposeful features, superior performance fabrics and refined branding details that reflect our commitment to quality and craftmanship. Their partnership with PADI AWARE foundation, helps clean our oceans, protect marine life, and support global conservation efforts donating a portion of each sale to their cause. Live Kolibri is style with purpose, self-expression, confidence and care of the planet.
Founding Story
Alexandra started Live Kolibri with the help from her mom, a business entrepreneur, and was driven by a desire to make a difference. As a personal stylist based in Dallas, Alex recognized a gap in the market for elevated, sustainable resort-wear products especially in men. Inspired by a love of the ocean and a life shaped by global travel, she created a luxury line rooted in sustainability launching first with a swimwear collection designed for all. When creating the men's swimwear, she wanted to incorporate all of the details and designs that were missing when she was styling her clients. This then transcended into moving into women's swimwear where she created a line with fabrics, fit, colors and designs that she felt were missing in the marketplace.
