About the Brand

About

Parcel Air is a children's travel box built around one rule, printed on the lid: no opening until wheels up. Inside are four kraft-paper parcels, tied with baker's twine and numbered one to four. The outer box opens the day it arrives, so the countdown starts at home. The parcels stay sealed until the plane leaves the ground, then open one at a time.

Each box is packed by hand in Los Angeles for a specific age: Ready to Fly (under 2), Little Passenger (3 to 4), Young Explorer (4 to 6) and The Navigator (6 to 8). Every tier is $68. Nothing inside needs a battery or a screen, and everything fits on a tray table.

Most kids' travel products are built to distract a child. Parcel Air is built to give a parent a few hours back. The anticipation does half the work: "what's in the next one" is a stronger question than "are we there yet."

Founding Story

Elizabeth Field DiGiovanni spent twelve years in technology, most recently as AI Lead at WhatsApp. Long before Parcel Air was a company, it was her pre-flight ritual. The night before a trip she wrapped a handful of small new things for her two kids and tucked them into their backpacks, with nothing allowed open until takeoff. Strangers on planes kept asking where they could buy it.

In May 2026 her role was eliminated. She filed an LLC that morning and drafted the first product page before lunch. The founding run of fifty boxes sold out in under 48 hours, on word of mouth and mockups alone, for a product that would not ship for months. Parcel Air still runs from her kitchen table and garage in Los Angeles, and both of her children playtest everything that goes into a parcel.
