Founding Story
Partaake was founded by Kat Slump, a seasoned software engineer and former Division 1 golfer with a deep connection to the sport. After years of organizing group outings and hearing the same frustrations from fellow golfers and course staff—manual bookings, unclear logistics, and scattered payments—she saw a clear opportunity to build something better.
With a background creating user-first products at companies like Apple, Phia, Pave, and Humu, Kat set out to modernize how golf events are planned and managed. What began as a simple fix for group tee time coordination has grown into a larger mission: to empower organizers and golf courses with modern, intuitive tools that simplify operations and unlock new revenue. Partaake reflects Kat’s drive to combine her technical expertise with her lifelong passion for the game—bringing innovation to an industry ready for change.
