The cocoon destroys before it creates. The Butterfly is transformation at its purest, and nothing about it is soft. Rendered in black, it abandons the expected sweetness for depth, strength and mystery. It is femininity as power.

An authenticated Louis Vuitton Speedy, produced between 1980 and 1995, is entirely dismantled in the Atelier. Not customized. Not altered. Rebuilt. The butterfly is hand-painted as a moment of elevation, almost floating, almost escaping, yet anchored in the structure. Across it, Not for Everyone is hand-embroidered in red: the manifesto no longer hidden, but owned. Crocodile-embossed leather replaces the expected elements. Custom PK hardware signs the exterior. Inside, an embroidered double lining finished with couture precision. Painting, embroidery, reconstruction and hardware: four disciplines, one piece, one number.

Each piece leaves the Atelier in its presentation box: the bag in its compartment, the certificate of authenticity stating its edition number, the original Louis Vuitton components preserved in their own dust bags, and a polaroid of the vintage piece before its transformation. The complete record of one bag becoming another.

The Speedy holds the city format of the cycle, carried close, seen up close. This piece speaks to those who redefine themselves without permission.
