About the Brand
About
SunShader is the original laptop sun shade for working outside, enabling you and your team to work from anywhere. It shields your device from the sun, so you can see your screen clearly, while preventing it from overheating. SunShader also keeps your work private and can be custom-branded for promotional purposes.
SunShader has iterated the product design over various evolutions, and currently offers SunShader Pro 5, a premium leather laptop sun shade, and SunShader Eco - a robust recylcable cardboard version that provides ample shade while also being eco-friendly and easy on the wallet.
If you wish to order in volume, SunShader can be custom printed with your business, school or team branding, or with any bright eye-catching design you may wish. SunShader makes the perfect, unique and practical swag gift for your clients and employees.
SunShader is based in sunny Austin, TX. With 300 sunny days per year, it is the perfect environment to test and develop SunShader for even the hottest climates.
Founding Story
The pandemic caused a mighty shift to remote work, but ironically laptops SUCK outside! They overheat within minutes (damaging the long-term battery life) and seeing your screen in bright sunlight is impossible! So founder, Alex Griffin, decided to fix this universal problem and invented SunShader, an original, patented laptop shade that uses innovative rubber hooks to attach to the very edge of your screen. It's pitched hood keeps it from obscuring your camera so you can take your emails, and Zoom calls, outside all day long.
