Michael Twer | Founder & CEO, Delilah Home

Michael Twer is the Founder and CEO of Delilah Home, an award-winning sustainable luxury home textile company recognized for creating premium organic cotton bedding, bath, beach, and kitchen linens that are better for people and the planet. Since founding the company in 2019, Michael has built Delilah Home into a nationally recognized brand carried by retailers including Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Amazon, Target.com, Walmart.com, Perigold, and other leading retailers.

Driven by the belief that luxury and sustainability should go hand in hand, Michael has built Delilah Home around ethically sourced materials, responsible manufacturing, and exceptional craftsmanship. Every product is made in family-owned factories in Portugal using GOTS-certified organic cotton or innovative recycled materials that deliver premium performance while reducing environmental impact.

One of Michael's most notable innovations is the Drytek™ collection—high-performance towels made from 100% recycled plastic bottles that are soft, lightweight, quick-drying, antimicrobial, and designed for active lifestyles. Under his leadership, Delilah Home also launched North America's first towel Take Back Program, giving customers the opportunity to return used Drytek towels for repair, donation, or recycling, helping reduce landfill waste and promote a circular economy.

Michael has also developed successful private-label programs for retailers and consumer brands, including a partnership with THEMAGIC5 to create premium swim accessories. His expertise in product development, global sourcing, and sustainable manufacturing has made him a respected voice within the home textiles industry.

From 2018 through 2024, Michael served as Chairman of the Organic Trade Association's Fiber Council, where he worked alongside industry leaders to advance organic fiber standards and promote responsible textile manufacturing.

Delilah Home has received national recognition from Good Housekeeping, The Wall Street Journal, Parents, Better Homes & Gardens, Apartment Therapy, and numerous other publications. The company's organic cotton sheets have repeatedly been named among the Best Organic Sheets, while its bath towels continue to earn recognition for combining luxury, performance, and sustainability.

The company was inspired by the remarkable story of Delilah, a golden retriever who survived 62 days alone in the North Carolina mountains before being reunited with her family. Her resilience inspired the company's guiding philosophy: "If you can't pay it back, pay it forward." That principle continues to shape Delilah Home's culture of giving back, with the company donating up to 10% of its profits and countless volunteer hours to charities and community organizations.

Today, Michael continues to expand Delilah Home's product offerings, forge strategic retail partnerships, and advocate for a future where exceptional design, ethical manufacturing, and environmental responsibility are the standard—not the exception.
